Michael Davies has practiced law with global law firms based in New York for over thirty years. His practice is focused on U.S. commercial litigation, international litigation and arbitration, aviation law and dispute resolution and general business counseling.
As a commercial litigator, Michael represents clients in complex commercial cases from inception through trial and appeal in New York state courts and federal courts throughout the U.S.
In the field of international litigation and arbitration, Michael represents clients in a wide variety of areas in U.S. courts and before international arbitral tribunals. In addition to private clients, Michael has also litigated on behalf of and against foreign governments and international organizations.
Michael is bilingual in English and French and works often with French-speaking clients and other European and Asian clients in the United States and abroad.
Michael also specializes in aviation law and dispute resolution, representing aircraft owners, lessors, operators and other industry professionals in a range of commercial matters and disputes. He is the Chair of the Subcommittee on UAS/Drone Regulation of the New York City Bar Association’s Aeronautics Committee.
As an advisor, Michael counsels businesses and individuals in contract, corporate governance and other matters.
