James M. Rueger
James M. Rueger is the firm’s Family Law practitioner and he also handles various civil, personal injury and probate litigation cases. General estate administration also is part of his practice.
Family law includes the representation of individuals in divorce and in dissolution matters. Support and custody issues can also be involved, either during the process of terminating the marriage or after the divorce or dissolution is granted (post-decree).
These issues can be emotional and very complicated. Mr. Rueger’s experience for over a quarter of a century in this area allows him to work with his clients in a manner that will fully protect their interests and minimize the stress.
Mr. Rueger is a graduate of Purdue University (1971) where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management degree. After graduation, he served as an officer in the United States Navy. Upon completing his service, he attended law school at night at the Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where he graduated in 1977. He is admitted to practice in Ohio and in the State of Florida.
WM. Stewart Mathews II
Stew Mathews handles the firm’s criminal law cases. He is admitted to practice in the State Courts of Ohio (since 1977) and Kentucky (since 1988) and personal injury cases. He is also admitted to practice in the Federal District Courts for the Southern District of Ohio and the Eastern District of Kentucky, as well as the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. Mathews was a member of the staff of the Hamilton County, Ohio Prosecutor’s Office for two years following his graduation from law school. Since then he has defended criminal cases in state and federal courts. He represents people charged with all types of offenses and has tried jury trials ranging from driving under the influence cases to death penalty murder cases. Additionally, he has been active in handling personal injury cases from negotiating settlements with insurance adjusters, to the mediation of cases, to the arbitration of cases to jury trials.
Robert H. Dolle
Robert H. Dolle is the firm’s Probate attorney. This is the process of administering the estate of one who has passed away, in many instances a family member or loved one. This involves the identification of the decedent’s assets and liabilities, payment of the debts and any taxes that may be due, and the distribution of remaining assets to the heirs and beneficiaries.
This can be a stressful and emotional time in a survivor’s life, but with a skilled attorney such as Mr. Dolle, this process can be handled in an uncomplicated and efficient manner, in full compliance with all State, Federal and tax laws.
Mr. Dolle is a graduate of Bowling Green State University (1970) and of the University of Cincinnati School of Law (1973). Upon graduation, Mr. Dolle served in the United States Air Force Judge Advocate Corps. He is admitted to practice in Ohio and also in Arizona.
